Driven by a passion for creating beautiful hair and a dedication to client satisfaction, Jamie is the talented Salon Director at Meraki Hair. With a keen eye for detail and a creative flair, she specializes in crafting stunning haircuts, with a particular focus on short styles and celebrating the natural movement of curly hair. Jamie is committed to staying at the forefront of hairdressing trends and providing the highest level of service to every client. She has almost 20 years of experience in cutting and colouring hair and is confident in all areas of hairdressing.
Jamie has been on a 12-month mentorship led by Lisa Farrell, a multi award-winning session stylist, educator and designer, who has styled music videos for Usher, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and Kendrick Lamar – to name but a few! In 2025 she is being mentored by the SASSOON academy – the elite in cutting and colouring education and has a scholarship with CALLIGRAPHY CUT , the Calligraphy cut is a revolutionary and scientifically proven technique to cut hair.
The three-degree inclined sharp blade cuts constantly at a 21 degree angle, gliding smoothly through the hair.
Creating a 270% larger surface area providing more volume, less split ends, more shine and healthy hair. It gives a textured finish that scissors cannot.
Jamie is a dedicated leader. Her ethos is a judgement free creative space for everyone and fosters a welcoming, creative environment with a focus on wellbeing and mental health. She strives to deliver a customer experience that’s unlike other salons. Meraki provides highly skilled stylists creating flawless work in a relaxed environment for authentic self care.
Jamie enjoys self-development, meditation, soundbath, reiki and self-care, reading and creative outlet through hair.

Abbey became a certified Master Colourist after completing an intensive color program based on the best practices of master colorists around the world. She has 14 years experience behind her and in 2025 is embarking on a mentorship programme lead by Zoe Irwin, a colouring and style trend forecaster, where she has an unreal year of education planned out. Zoe is known as the Stella McCartney of the hairdressing industry.
Abbey is dedicated to creating a unique and unforgettable experience for each client. With a focus on personalised consultations, client education, and an in depth wealth of knowledge in colour, Abbey strives to make your colour journey enjoyable and stress-free. From classic highlights to the latest trends, she will work closely with you to achieve your dream hair and leave you feeling confident while maintaining the health of your hair.
Abbey’s style would be summed up – Rich and natural not forced and fussy.
She’s also loves animals and feeds the neighbourhood foxes jam sandwiches!
Caz has 11 years salon experience and loves bright vivid colours. She enjoys experimenting with different looks, blends and placement allowing her clients to express their unique style and personality.
Caz has had extensive education in scalp and platinum bleaching and loves foiling. Her most recent training was in London at the famous ‘not another salon’ renowned for its bleaching and vivid masterpieces. She is also being mentored in 2025 by the SASSON academy- the elite in cutting and colouring hair education.
Contrasting the intense vibrant work, Caz also really enjoys creating low maintenance, lived in natural looks and pinning hair up.
Caz has a strong skill set when it comes to hair cutting. She’s super confident in short hair, male grooming, curly hair cuts and using the calligraphy pen. The calligraphy cut is a revolutionary technique of cutting hair allowing maximum movement, shine and texture.
As a Senior Stylist with a deep love for both cutting and coloring, she thrives on creating personalized looks that reflect each client’s unique personality and lifestyle.
Caz enjoys walks in the Peak District, Indy music, reading And crime dramas!
With 18 years of experience, grace excels in creating classic hairstyles that are both sophisticated and easy to maintain.
Grace has honed her skills over years of practice, resulting in exceptional precision in cutting and a deep understanding of color theory and application. She can handle complex techniques such as balayage and dimensional color with ease. She really enjoys working on lived in colours and always pushes herself to create stunning outcomes and loves an old money vibe.
Grace is passionate about providing personalized service and delivering consistently excellent results, she also has all the banter and is an absolute joy to be around.
Grace loves family, astrology, the wonders of the universe and of course a glass of wine and a yap with the girls.
Natalie is a passionate and experienced hairstylist with over 15 years in the industry. She’s trained to Level 3 and have a special interest in hair extensions, with expertise in Micro ring, keratin bonds, and tape extensions. She is also a Goldwell Colour Master, so you can trust her to deliver stunning, long-lasting colour results.
Natalie absolutely loves creating beautiful transformations for her clients, especially those with long hair. Whether you’re dreaming of a subtle change or a dramatic new look, she will work with you to achieve the perfect colour and style.
When Nat is not in the salon, you’ll find her busy keeping up with my three kids and enjoying time at home. She has a passion for interior design and loves decorating, upcycling furniture, and tackling any home project that comes her way.
Maggie is our fabulous junior hairstylist. She has the sweetest personality and is really shining in the new skills she is learning. Her blowdrys are on point and she can apply global colours with ease. She has also been educated on the latest Keratin smoothing treatment application. We are really looking forward to teaching Maggie more of the skills she will need to become a fulled booked stylist in the future. A personal thank you to all the clients that book in with her, you all help her on her career journey and for that she is incredibly grateful.
Maggie enjoys mountain biking, drum and bass, reading, and is a lifeguard in her spare time!
Sarah is a self-employed stylist with an impressive 35 years in the hair industry. Sarah Riggott brings a wealth of experience, creativity, and technical excellence to Meraki hair. Trained in the renowned Sassoon discipline, she built a strong foundation in precision cutting that continues to influence her work today.
Sarah is a former salon owner and the creator behind Box of Hair, reflecting both her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation within the industry. Over the years, she has developed a reputation as a true all-rounder, with expertise spanning all aspects of colour, advanced cutting techniques, and specialist wig cutting.<
Her commitment to education, craftsmanship, and evolving hair techniques has made her a respected figure among peers and professionals alike. Today, Sarah continues to inspire and support stylists across the UK, championing the Calligraphy Cut method and helping others elevate their skills and confidence behind the chair.
